The March 2007 survey received responses from 110,460,149 (110 million) sites, an increase of 1.64 million from last month. The Web crosses the 110 million mark just five months after reaching 100 million web sites in the November 2006 survey, continuing the strong growth trend seen in the last two years.

January 2007 survey received responses from 106,875,138 sites, an increase of 1.63 million from last month's (December 2006) survey. Leading the growth is Microsoft, which adds more than 650K hostnames on its Windows Live Spaces blog service, while Go Daddy (+165K) and Google (+105K) also had growth of more than 100,000 sites this month.

The December 2006 survey received responses from 105,244,649 sites, an increase of 3.8 million hostnames from last month, when the survey topped 100 million sites for the first time. The increase brings the Web's total growth for 2006 to 30.9 million sites, shattering the previous one-year record gain of 17.5 million sites from 2005.

According to the November 2006 Web survey of Netcraft, there are now more than 100 million web sites on the Internet, which gained 3.5 million sites last month to continue the dynamic growth seen throughout 2006. In the November 2006 survey we received responses from 101,435,253 sites, up from 97.9 million sites last month.
